short poetic film
In 1999, Scott Wicken had the good fortune of receiving a grant from
Bravo!
to make a 'short poetic film' for his poem, Where
Do the Souls of Children Go?.Actually, the Director Mario
Madau,
the Producer Ted Ellis and the Writer, Wicken, received the grant. The
premiere television showing was on Friday, August 20, 1999 on Bravo!
Channel.
There were also two 'short poetic film' releases, one at the Boathouse
in Kitchener, Ontario and the other at the Sidetrack Cafe in beautiful
downtown Edmonton, Alberta. The reason that this work is called a
'short
poetic film' and not a video is because Wicken tends to hate videos and
this was shot on 16mm film, so it is a film, ok!!!
